Cesc Fabregas slammed Tottenham legend Graham Roberts and claimed he didnt know who he was after the former Spurs skipper mocked his recent lack of playing time.

The Spain World Cup winner joined Monaco from Chelsea in January after he failed to convince Maurizio Sarri he was worthy of a regular starting place in his new-look midfield.

Fabregas was subsequently snapped up by his old Arsenal teammate Thierry Henry and has played a bit-part role in his new sides bid to escape relegation from Ligue 1.

In his absence, Chelsea booked their place in the Europa League semi finals on Thursday with a win over Slavia Prague, while Arsenal joined their west London rivals in the last four of the competition with a comfortable 3-0 aggregate victory over Napoli.

With Spurs having made it through to semi finals of the Champions League following an unforgettable win against Manchester City, Fabregas asked on Twitter: Genuine question… As a fan, would you rather get to the Champions League final and be a runner up or win the Europa League? Just curious.
