Brendan Rodgers is more than capable of managing Manchester United, but he will never get the job due to his previous stint as Liverpool boss. Thats according to Arsenal legend Paul Merson.

Uniteds struggles have continued this season despite the summer arrivals of Harry Maguire, Daniel James and Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is coming under increasing pressure after only two wins from six in the Premier League.

Leicester, meanwhile, sit third in the table after victories over Sheffield United, Bournemouth and Tottenham and Rodgers is being tipped to steer the Foxes to a top-six finish.

Rodgers Leicester reign began just weeks after Solskjaer was appointed caretaker manager of United and its fair to say their paths have taken very different turns.
