The party announced that Lord Cameron, the former foreign secretary, and Richard Holden, who led the Tories during the unsuccessful election campaign, had resigned from Sunak\u2019s senior team. Andrew Mitchell, who previously held the largely ceremonial role of deputy foreign secretary, will now serve as shadow foreign secretary. Sunak remains the leader of the opposition until a new leader is elected, with Jeremy Hunt and James Cleverly continuing as shadow chancellor and shadow home secretary, respectively.
