Abbey Leisure Center in Barking and BecontreeHeath Leisure Center in Dagenham have been refurbished with the aim of improving the town’s fitness facilities and equipment.

Abbey’s gym has been renovated, and all equipment has been replaced.

The new fitness facility was officially opened at a ceremony. It was attended by Councilor Saima Ashraf, Deputy Leader of Barking and Dagenham Council, and senior officials from Everyone Active operations staff.

How was the Becontree Leisure centre in Dagenham upgraded?
