London (Parliament Politics Magazine) – Family, relatives and companions recalled Liam Payne at the One Direction star’s funeral, just over a month after he passed away at the age of 31.
As reported by BBC, the private service was carried out in Amersham in Buckinghamshire, north-west of London. Payne’s ex-bandmates Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan and Zayn Malik were among the grievers, alongside Payne’s girlfriend Kate Cassidy and his ex-partner Cheryl. Payne’s casket arrived at the church on a white horse-drawn hearse holding floral tributes spelling the words “son” and “daddy”.
After the service, four pallbearers took the coffin from St Mary’s Church, followed by his parents and Cheryl. A small group of onlookers gathered outside the church.
