Harrow (Parliament Politics Magazine) – Harrow faces major road closures in April, with gas works in Pinner set to shut a key road for over four months, disrupting residents and traffic flow.
Some road closures may only be in place for a few days, causing the least amount of inconvenience, but others will persist for several weeks.
Lane closures on the borough’s main roads may result in lengthy delays, and citizens may have to find an alternate route to get to their destination due to traffic disruptions caused by the closures.
One of the major closures is Cecil Road, which will be closed for gas work for over four months. Additionally, due to water works, one of the lanes on Watford Road will be closed for the duration of the month and until June 30.
According to the website of Harrow Council, the following is a summary of the main road closures in a certain borough. They provide residents who might experience disruptions with information about the diversion routes.
Due to significant gas main replacements, Harrow View has seen multiple road closures since June of last year. The project is anticipated to be completed in eight stages over the course of 18 months.

What are the key highlights of Harrow road closures?
The introduction of School Streets at Bentley Wood High School, St. Anselm’s Primary School, and Earlsmead Primary School is being discussed by the Harrow Council. Although a decision has not yet been made, these would entail scheduled road closures during school drop-off and pick-up hours.
For utility work, a number of roads have been closed. Buckingham Road in Harrow-on-the-Hill was closed until March 9. Palmerston Road, Cunningham Park, Northolt Road, and Alexandra Avenue were among the other roads that were closed, however they were mostly in February and early March.
The information that is now accessible makes no mention of a road closure in Harrow that would begin in April and remain longer than four months. Future closures could result from existing projects and fresh discussions, though.
