How much did Nigel Farage declare for 10 hours of work with Nomad Capitalist?

The Reform UK leader, MP for Clacton, known for his strong stance on illegal migration, delivered a speech at an event in Kuala Lumpur last September.

In his MP’s register of interests, he revealed a payment of £40,075.37 for addressing the Nomad Capitalist event.

What did Nigel Farage say about speaking at the Nomad Capitalist event?

Mr Farage justified his decision to address the Nomad Capitalist event, citing a report showing London is no longer among the world’s top five wealthiest cities.

He described the city’s loss of millionaires, second only to Moscow, as a “disaster” and claimed his party offers a way for them to return.

He stated,

“I am telling them that Reform means they can come back.”

What did Nigel Farage say about global elites after Brexit?

Reflecting on the Brexit referendum, Mr. Farage criticized global elites, stating,

“I am getting tired and bored with this constant negativity we’re getting from the global elites.”

He said,

“We had the same thing from the boss of Goldman Sachs, Lloyd Blankfein, last week saying maybe his guys would all move out to Frankfurt.”

Reform leader claims to be a defender of British values, but he has been outspoken in criticizing refugees seeking better lives and fleeing conflict and hardship.

Earlier this week, he said,

“Young men who come in with no documents get free housing, free healthcare, get everything, and Labour candidates – like the one standing in the by-election in Runcorn – seem to want to welcome everyone who comes.”

How does Nomad Capitalist help reduce taxes and increase freedom?

Nomad Capitalist promotes

“bespoke, holistic strategies for successful investors and entrepreneurs to legally reduce their tax bills, diversify and protect their assets, become global citizens, and maximise their freedom.”

The company, which advocates for a “borderless world,” claims to help people acquire a second residency and citizenship to enhance their freedom and choices. This includes second residencies, dual nationalities, and tax cuts.

The firm encourages its clients to “go where you’re treated best” and provides a passport index that ranks the top citizenships to hold.

Nigel Farage’s expanding career

Last December, it was revealed that alongside his roles as an MP and GB News presenter, Nigel Farage had been working as a paid brand ambassador for a gold bullion company.

At that time Reform Uk leader stated,

“I’ve been working for Direct Bullion … I’ve been doing a bit of promotion for them, bit of advertising for them, bit of education for them, so you know I have an interest in this – declared.”

He added,

“But I’m not doing it out of nothing … I’ve been doing this now with them for getting on for a year, but actually for the last five years I’ve been involved with financial markets newsletters etc, making this argument that you should give gold a serious thought and it is open and accessible to you.”

The paid gold promotion job will likely confirm the Reform leader’s position as one of the highest-paid MPs. From July 2024 to December 2024, he earned £177,000 from GB News as a news presenter. He also receives payments for his social media work on Facebook, X, YouTube, and for personalized Cameo videos.
