UK (Parliament Politics Magazine) – Tory MP Patrick Spencer faces charges for allegedly assaulting two women at the Groucho Club in Soho, London, last year.
As reported by Sky News, Patrick Spencer has been charged with two counts of sexual assault. The charges are linked to alleged offences at Soho’s Groucho Club in central London.
The Tory MP for Central Suffolk and North Ipswich will face court proceedings at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on 16 June.
The CSP said the charges relate to separate alleged incidents involving two women at the Groucho Club in August 2023.
According to the MET Police, the 37-year-old was charged after attending a voluntary interview. It took place at a police station in London on 13 March.
Frank Ferguson’s views on the charges against MP Patrick Spencer

“Following a review of the evidence provided by the Metropolitan Police Service, we have authorised two counts of sexual assault against Patrick Spencer MP.”
He said,
“The charges follow two alleged incidents involving two separate women at the Groucho Club in central London in August 2023.”
Mr Ferguson stated,
