Barking & Dagenham (Parliament Politics Magazine) – A child was rushed to hospital after a fall on Church Elm Lane in Dagenham. Emergency services responded swiftly as local safety concerns grow.

After emergency services were called to Church Elm Lane at 2:31 PM today (August 4), police closed the road.

Medics arrived in less than five minutes after the child fell from a height and was transported by road to the hospital.

The child’s condition is unknown at this point.

After the fall, a London Air Ambulance touched down at Old Barking & Dagenham Park.

From the delicious kebab store to the Church Elm Lane Health Centre, Church Elm Lane is closed.

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said:

“We were called at 2.31pm today (4 August) to reports of a person fallen from height on Church Elm Lane, Dagenham.

We sent resources to the scene, including an ambulance crew, an incident response officer and a paramedic in a fast response car. We also dispatched London’s Air Ambulance.

Our first paramedic arrived in less than five minutes. We treated a child at the scene and took them to a major trauma centre by road.”
