Ealing (Parliament Politics Magazine) – Ealing Liberal Democrats have launched a new residents’ survey to gather views on key local issues, aiming to shape future community priorities and policies.
Less than six months remained until Ealing’s original choices on May 7, 2026.
According to a city-wide check, residents’ top enterprises are crime and anti-social behaviour.
Over 500 people have responded to the sanctioned opposition party to the Labour-run Ealing Council’s” residers’ check” over the course of the past month.
Multitudinous attendees brought attention to issues in Deans auditoriums and West Ealing, as well as in the wards that Liberal Democrat council members represent.
E-bikes on pavements, fly-posting, graffiti, overdevelopment, and shy road cleaning are common grievances.

The Liberal Democrat shadow cabinet member for communities, Councillor Connie Hersch, stated that the party sought to create a “broad cross-section” of viewpoints from around the borough.

Ealing Council will use the findings from the residents check to inform and guide organizational advancements, service development, and policy planning. The check provides representative perceptivity into residers’ satisfaction with the original area, council services, and crucial precedences.
The council uses this feedback alongside other inputs and ongoing engagement to shape plans and programs that address community requirements, ameliorate service delivery, and enhance resident involvement in decision- timber.
