Havering (Parliament Politics Magazine) – Havering Christmas Land opened at Harrow Lodge Park on November 28, debuting its festive outdoor lights trail and welcoming the season’s first visitors.

The monthly event, which is organized by the internal health association Mind in Havering, Barking, and Dagenham, involves decorating the theater next to Harrow Lodge House with thousands of lights and Christmas scenes.

This time, guests could marvel at a towering Jack Skellington from Tim Burton’s classic The Agony Before Christmas, in addition to an inflatable Grinch and his canine Max.

In 2025, the glittering light archway and the gingerbread lights which provided excellent photo opportunities returned.

Arabella, who’s nine weeks old, and Aiden, who’s one time old, were among the first children to visit and get gifts from Santa when he opened his cavern on Friday.

More than 30,000 people are anticipated to visit Havering Christmas Land in 2024; the organizers anticipate that this time will be” bigger and better” than previous times.

Also, Havering Christmas Land is holding its initial” Dasher’s out-of-door disco” this time, which will feature a DJ, Christmas games, gifts, and phylacteries.

All proceeds from the lights trail, which costs £5 per person (under- 2s are free), will support Mind’s work in Havering, Barking, and Dagenham.

There will be two SEN-friendly sessions on December 1 and 8, as well as a canine-friendly night on December 2. General admission is available on several occasions till January 2.
