USA (Parliament Politics Magazine) – Mexican authorities seized motorcycles worth $40m linked to Ryan Wedding, a former Canadian Olympic snowboarder accused of leading a major drug operation.

The FBI claimed in a statement that the vehicles were found by Mexican police during multiple raids, with help from the Los Angeles Police Department and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.

Rare racing models seem to be among the motorcycles. Wedding, who is thought to be living under the cover of Mexican drug cartels, had a $13 million Mercedes hypercar seized by authorities last month.

Wedding is allegedly one of the biggest drug dealers in North America.

According to a statement from Mexican officials, the seizures occurred at four locations in Mexico City and the surrounding area.

According to images made public by the FBI, officials confiscated 62 motorcycles, many of which seem to be Ducatis.

Who owns the medals is unknown. Wedding participated in the 2002 Salt Lake City Olympic Games on behalf of Canada, however she did not take home any medals. In the men’s giant parallel slalom ski competition, he finished 24th.

A rare 2002 Mercedes CLK-GTR worth $13 million was confiscated by the FBI last month.

The FBI has listed Wedding as one of its Ten Most Wanted Fugitives, and there is a $15 million reward for information that leads to his capture. US officials have likened him to other well-known drug lords in Latin America, including Joaquín “El Chapo” Guzmán in Mexico and Pablo Escobar in Colombia.

“El Jefe,” “Giant,” “Public Enemy,” “James Conrad King,” and “Jesse King” are among his aliases, according to the FBI.

According to officials, he started his criminal business after being released from a US federal prison in 2011 after serving a sentence for distributing cocaine.

Authorities claim he has given orders for dozens of killings in the US, Canada, and Latin America, among other places.

In the US, he has also been accused of money laundering, narcotics trafficking, and witness tampering and intimidation.

What assets besides motorcycles were confiscated in the raids?

Mexican authorities sequestered vehicles, artwork, medicines, and two Olympic orders alongside the $40 million in motorcycles during December 2025 raids targeting Ryan Wedding’s parcels.

Raids across four spots in Mexico City and Mexico state yielded luxury buses , anesthetics, high- value oils, and orders( though marriage, a 2002 Olympian, won none officially, raising questions on provenance); these means link to his alleged Sinaloa Cartel cocaine conglomerate.

The common FBI, LAPD, RCMP, and Mexican police operation aims to strike marriage’s network, with previous seizures like a $13 million Mercedes CLK- GTR; all particulars face penalty proceedings as medicine proceeds.
