Iran military command warning on military attacks

TEHRAN, June 11 (Parliament Politics Magazine) – Iran’s top joint military command, the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, issued a stern warning on Thursday that the United States will face a more severe response if it continues to launch military attacks. This declaration came after President Donald Trump threatened to strike the nation and seize critical energy infrastructure.

Tensions Over Energy Infrastructure

The military command addressed U.S. threats regarding Iran’s oil infrastructure, particularly targeting the vulnerable Kharg Island site.

In a statement released through state media, the command asserted, “Considering recent U.S. threats against Iran’s oil infrastructure, either oil and gas exports are for everyone or they will be available for no one.”

Expanding Regional Conflict

The military command warned that continued aggression from the United States would cause the conflict to become more widespread and extensive. This deterioration of peace follows the downing of an American Apache helicopter near the Strait of Hormuz, which triggered precision strikes by U.S. Central Command. Subsequent retaliatory missile and drone salvos from Iran against bases in Kuwait, Bahrain, and Jordan have pushed both sides toward a wider regional war.

Military Standoff

The current standoff involves critical maritime chokepoints where roughly one-fifth of global petroleum consumption passes daily. While the U.S. remains focused on disabling Iranian air defenses and surveillance hubs, the Iranian military command is emphasizing its readiness to counter further military attacks using asymmetric warfare tactics. Diplomatic efforts led by Qatar are currently underway in Tehran, aiming to pass draft agreements and stabilize the region before the situation escalates further. As both parties remain locked in this cycle of strikes and counter-strikes, the threat of sustained military attacks continues to loom over Middle Eastern security.
