Aldi launches affordable fitness range including rowing machine and weights

Aldi is famous for its Specialbuys deals which sees the supermarket release products each week for great prices. Available online and in-store, Specialbuys cover a wide range of activities and hobbies. This week, Aldi is launching its very own fitness range to help Britons stay fit in the New Year.

The new range is available online right now but for those waiting to pick it up in-store, the equipment hits stores from December 31.

There is a huge variety of fitness equipment available including a rowing machine for £199.99.

The description of the machine reads: “Get ready to row into the new year and hit your fitness targets with the help of this Rowing Machine.

“With 16 resistance levels, various adjustable training programmes and several display functions, you can be sure you’ll be getting the best possible workout with this piece of equipment.

“When you’re finished, instead of leaving it out to take up space, simply fold it down and store it away!”

For those who have a little more space, there is also a Power Rack available to pick up for £279.99.

This is available online only and can be used to tone and condition the body, designed to work on any fitness level.

The Fitt Cube is also online only due to size and costs £99.99.

The multifunctional cube helps with cardio exercises, strength, flexibility, endurance and powder.

It’s full of useful tools such as resistance bands, workout videos and a stepper.

However for those looking for something a little more affordable, Aldi’s barbell set is just £29.99 and it comes in different sizes weights to choose from, including a straight or curled bar.

Dumbbells are also available to purchase separately costing just £4.99 for the smaller weights and £8.99 for the heavier ones.

Other items in the Specially range include yoga mats, resistance bands as well as a digital fitness band.

The fitness band tracks fitness levels and can monitor heart rates, measure calories burnt, track sleeping patterns and even tell you the weather forecast. It is available for just £19.99.

Gym bags and fitness trainers can also be found in stores in a variety of different styles and colours.

Customers who want to get their hands on some of the fitness items should be quick because like all Aldi Specialbuys, once they’re gone, they’re not re-stocked.

For those heading to their local Aldi to explore the range of fitness items should be aware of the rules that the supermarket has in place.

To help maintain social distance in-store, the retailer has a traffic-light system outdoors to help manage the flow of customers.

Shoppers should also try to shop alone if possible to help reduce the number of customers in-store at any one time.

There are also priority opening hours available as well as Perspex screens at checkouts to help protect colleagues.
