Central London (Parliament Politics Magazine)A young male fights for survival after sustaining a groin stabbing during the early morning following late-night activities in central London. The attack occurred at 2:20 am when a man in his 20s was assaulted in front of the Be At One cocktail bar on Old Street.

The Metropolitan Police arrested three men along with a woman within 50 minutes of receiving the emergency call near Shoreditch Park for attempted murder charges. Authorities hold these persons in custody until the investigation reaches completion. The Metropolitan Police confirmed that the victim is still in hospital “in a critical condition,” according to Metro reports.

A Met Police representative confirmed that medical personnel transported the sufferer to a major trauma facility where they currently fight for their life. A section of Old Street remains closed for traffic that runs between Ruth Street and Curtain Road, where police blocked off access. The streets of Charlotte Road have been completely blocked to all vehicles.

“We are aware of a serious incident that occurred in the nearby vicinity of Be At One. Our venue remains closed whilst Police carry out investigations. Our thoughts are with the victim and we wish them a full recovery.”

“We sent a number of resources to the scene including an ambulance crew, an advanced paramedic, a paramedic in a fast response car, and an incident response officer. We also dispatched a trauma team in a car from London’s Air Ambulance. The first paramedic arrived in less than four minutes. We treated one person at the scene and took them to a major trauma centre as a priority.”
