USA (Parliament Politics Magazine) – A violent brawl between rival jewelers erupted in Manhattan’s Diamond District, leaving two arrested and another hospitalized as shoppers looked on.

According to authorities, George Akay, 46, and his brother Freddy, 42, were both arrested for allegedly hitting rival jeweler Maksud Agadjani, the owner of TraxNYC, after a violent altercation inside their shared West 47th Street office space.

According to a shocking video posted on social media, the altercation started when Agadjani, 39, barged inside Akay Diamonds and accused them of defrauding him and his patrons.

Agadjani said,

“Where’s my f—ing money, you motherf—-er,”

slamming a bracelet down in front of one of the brothers and violently rocking the jewelry counter.

Then Agadjani said,

“You’re using my name, you b–ch,”

and held up a receipt to the man’s face. The startling footage said,

“You f—king thief.”

He kept yelling as security tried to calm him down and eventually led him out of the store.

However, a second video showed the rivalry rekindling before the brother spat in Agadjani’s face, igniting a violent altercation that left him surrounded by a group of men and purportedly battered.

After being brought to Bellevue Hospital, the owner of TraxNYC made another video in which he flaunted a gaudy gold chain and red marks around his neck.

According to authorities, the Akay brothers, who are both from New Jersey, were accused of assault.

Although police were unable to verify their involvement in the altercation, another individual received a summons.

“This is the receipt of this disgusting company that pretends to be me,”

Agadjani said in the video.

“They sold my customer their bracelet and ripped him off and ripped him off on the gold. These rats have done this over and and over again, and I tolerated it.”

Comments from Adadjani and the Akay brothers were not immediately available.

What evidence supports the scam allegations against AKAY Diamonds?

Substantiation supporting scam allegations against AKAY Diamonds remains primary and client- driven, primarily stemming from TraxNYC proprietor Maksud Agadjani’s public claims rather than independent verification.

TraxNYC alleges Akay vended a client a $22,000 cuff falsely announced as 14- karat gold with VVS diamonds, which independent testing revealed as 10- karat gold featuring lower- grade monuments; Agadjani refunded the buyer before defying staff.

Akay staff indicted TraxNYC of extortionate demands and trespass during the battle, suggesting competitive sabotage; FTC jewelry guidelines bear validation, but no nonsupervisory conduct confirms misrepresentation as of January 3, 2026.
