Hounslow (Parliament Politics Magazine) – An investigation is underway after an unidentified chemical was discovered at Hounslow Police Station, prompting safety concerns and official inquiries.
Today, February 20, the chemical material was found in a bag at the station on Montague Road.
Following their arrival, the London Fire Brigade and London Ambulance Service deemed the area safe.
The Metropolitan Police have opened an inquiry and there have been no arrests or injuries.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said:
“Police are investigating a bag containing an unknown chemical substance at Hounslow Police Station on Thursday, 20 February.
The London Ambulance Service and London Fire Brigade attended and deemed the area safe.
An investigation continues into the reported substance.
There have been no arrests or injuries.”
