London (Parliament Politics Magazine) –  The International Food and Drink Event (IFE 2025) will debut the first group of Jordanian food-sector companies next Monday at the ExCeL International Exhibition Centre in London.

The Jordan Exporters Association (JEA) organizes this participation as part of a strategic plan to boost Jordanian food export growth and sow greater market access globally.

IFE 2025 runs for three days with 1,500 international exhibitors participating while expecting 30,000 global buyers and distributors representing 105 countries. The exhibition serves as a key event which gives Jordanian businesses an opportunity to display their products before an international visitor audience especially toward UK markets where food diversity and quality demand increases.

What did JEA Chairman Ahmad Khudari say about the participation?

JEA Chairman Ahmad Khudari stated, “This first participation comes within the association’s strategy to promote Jordanian exports of food products and expand their presence in global markets.”

The director expressed his view that IFE 2025 presents a “remarkable” chance for Jordanian businesses to display their “quality” products globally and support Jordanian export promotion, especially in Britain, which is experiencing rising worldwide interest in international foods from Arab nations.

What products will Jordanian companies showcase?

Through the exhibition Khudari explained how it will provide an “important” visual platform to display and enhance the promotion of Jordanian food items which include desserts and baked goods as well as nuts and spices and many additional food products. The quality of Jordan’s food sector stands out highly among global buyers, according to Khudari.

Why is the UK market significant for Jordanian exports?

Khudari pointed to the UK market’s “multiple privileges,” including the presence of a “large” Arab community, which provides a “great” opportunity for Jordanian companies to expand their businesses and strengthen their presence in this “vital” destination.

The free trade agreement both countries have established provides Jordan with improved trade relations and open market access benefits.

Khudari reiterated that Jordanian exports represent a “solution” to multiple economic challenges. He stated,

“Creating new markets for local products boosts production, supports industrial expansion, and attracts new investments.”

This initiative would generate additional job opportunities for citizens while strengthening reserve assets and balancing international trade statistics, according to the Minister.

Official data from 2024 shows the Jordan-UK trade exchange at JD 303 million while Jordan sells products worth JD62 million. Participation in IFE 2025 will generate additional growth by creating new market opportunities for Jordanian products in the UK market.

What opportunities does IFE 2025 offer for Jordanian companies?

Khudari described the exhibition as a “unique” opportunity for Jordanian companies to network with “leading” international companies in the food sector. The event will showcase Jordanian food products to the world through exhibition presentations, which both increase export volumes and develop international market reach.

IFE 2025 provides a stage for Jordanian food companies to enter London’s position as an international commerce centre that facilitates global business connections and leads to increased success. The event demonstrates the increasing UK market need for premium food products among its thriving Arab community.
