Following reports of a stabbing, the Metropolitan Police were dispatched to New Cross Road in Lewisham today, August 16.
A 55-year-old male with non-life-threatening injuries was transported to the hospital by emergency services.
In the wake of this occurrence, a 36-year-old male was taken into custody.
He is still being held by the police.

“Police were called at 05:38hrs on Say, 16 August to reports of a stabbing in New Cross Road, SE14.
Met officers attended the scene alongside London Ambulance Service, where they found a 55-year-old man suffering from stab wound injuries.
He was taken to hospital where his condition has been assessed as neither life-changing nor life-threatening.
A scene is in place while police investigate the circumstances.
A 36-year-old male has been arrested and remains in police custody. “
