Ghislaine Maxwell, a condemned sex dealer, is seen beaming at the quondam Napoleon in the background of the print. It looks like the picture was taken in the taproom of Sandringham, the Norfolk royal estate.
After being deprived of his remaining titles and honors due to his connections to the late coitus felonious Jeffrey Epstein, the print’s release will increase scrutiny of Mr. Mountbatten- Windsor.
Andrew has constantly denied any misconduct.
Also, two of the images feature Sarah Ferguson, Andrew’sex-wife, with ladies whose faces are obscured by black places.
Representatives for Ms. Ferguson refused to note.
Simply showing up in the filmland or records isn’t evidence of misconduct.
The long-awaited documents pertaining to the US Department of Justice’s investigations into Epstein, known as the “Epstein files,” were made public on Friday night in a heavily redacted tranche.
Following the passage of a law by Congress requiring the full release of the papers by December 19th, the documents were eagerly awaited.
They include pictures of Epstein’s residences, his excursions abroad, and famous people like Michael Jackson, Mr. Mountbatten-Windsor, and US President Bill Clinton. The files barely mentioned President Donald Trump.
President Trump is among the many people named in past disclosures who have denied any misconduct with Epstein.
The 65-year-old former prince appears considerably younger in the undated photo. He has his eyes closed and is grinning.
Black squares have been used to redact the faces of others seated in front of a large fireplace alongside him. The picture seems to be taken at King Charles’s Norfolk private estate, Sandringham.
He looks to be at Royal Ascot with Epstein and Maxwell in another photo.
Undated filmland of Maxwell standing outside the door of 10 Downing Street are also included in the lines.
She’s by herself in the shot, and it does not explain why she’s there or when it was taken.
The royal family has been agonized by the contestation girding Andrew’s association with Epstein.
After weeks of strong pressure over his connections to the paedophile financier, the King stripped his young family of his royal title.
Also, it’s anticipated that he’d soon vacate Royal Lodge, his Windsor estate.
Following new inquiries and allegations regarding his particular life, Andrew Mountbatten- Windsor, as he’s now known, relinquished his other royal titles, including the Duke of York.
Emails from the beginning of this year revealed that he had maintained contact with Epstein for a longer period of time than he had previously acknowledged.
Virginia Giuffre, a well-known accuser of Epstein, reiterated claims that she had intercourse with Andrew three times as a teenager in a postmortem memoir that was released in October. The accusations have always been vehemently refuted by Andrew.
Additionally, Democratic members of the US Congress have called for Andrew to testify before a committee looking into Epstein’s actions. By the end of their deadline last month, he had not responded to the request.
Two images of Ms. Ferguson, who was the Duchess of York at the time, have also surfaced in the document dump.
In one, she is seen standing on a sidewalk with an unnamed woman who is carrying a shopping bag. In the other, she is seated on a green sofa with her legs crossed.
Earlier this year, Ms. Ferguson’s own Epstein controversy surfaced after it was discovered that she referred to him as her “supreme friend” in an email dated 2011.
Following the publication of that email, which also appeared to be an apology for her public criticism of him, several charities removed the then-Duchess of York as a patron or ambassador.
Democrats have accused the excessive redactions of breaking the transparency rule.
However, the DoJ claims it has “erred on the side of redacting to protect victims,” while the White House claims the Trump administration is the “most public in history.”
What redactions are present in the released documents and why?
The Epstein lines released by the US Department of Justice on December 19, 2025, contain expansive redactions across thousands of runners, including full knockouts of over 550 documents and partial obscurations like black boxes or sticky notes on prints and reports.
Entire lines, similar as 119 runners of grand jury accoutrements from Epstein and Maxwell cases, are fully redacted, alongside police statements, investigative summaries, victim individualities, and lists like 250″ masseuses”; inconsistent styles appear, with some men’s faces in prints defended perfectly.
Redactions cover victim-related information, ongoing examinations( e.g., Epstein ties to numbers like Clinton), public security, and sensitive data per the Epstein lines translucency Act; the DOJ cited rushed processing causing crimes, with explanations due to Congress within 15 days.
