Quadient: Expands Its UK Parcel Locker Network

Quadient today announced the expansion of its open UK parcel locker network, with two new partnerships representing over 1,000 potential locations to host ‘Parcel Pending by Quadient’ lockers.

The partnerships are made with APCOA, the leading provider of car park mobility technologies and solutions in the UK and Ireland, and Rontec, one of the main players in the UK service station sector, operating 264 stations -service under the Esso, BP and Shell brands.

According to Quadient, parcel lockers can transform a site into a local hub offering consumers an essential point of passage, limiting the distance traveled and the journeys made by both deliverers and customers, and thus contributing to a more sustainable future.

‘Accommodating multi-carrier systems is another value added service we can offer our customers,’ said Kim Challis, Regional Managing Director of APCOA UK and Ireland. ‘These parcel lockers will help our customers reduce their travel, reduce their fuel consumption and their costs, while contributing to a more sustainable environment’.
