USA (Parliament Politics Magazine) – One person is in custody and an investigation is ongoing after an incident caused property damage at Vice President JD Vance’s Ohio residence.

The US Secret Service claims that the Vance family was not in Ohio at the time of the event.

The home’s windows were damaged, according to pictures from local news sources. The individual, an unidentified adult male, was arrested

“for causing property damage, including breaking windows on the exterior of a personal residence associated with”

Vance, according to a Secret Service spokesperson.

Shortly after midnight, the incident took place.

“The U.S. Secret Service is coordinating with the Cincinnati Police Department and the U.S. Attorney’s Office as charging decisions are reviewed,”

the spokesperson, Anthony Guglielmi, said.

According to a federal law enforcement officer, authorities are looking into whether someone was targeting Vance or his family. They don’t think the individual broke into the vice president’s house.

The Vance family had already left town before the event, a White House official said.
