Ealing (Parliament Politics Magazine) – A 22-year-old Croydon man is in police custody on suspicion of grievous bodily harm, knife possession in a public place, and possession of a Class B drug.

After a Croydon man stabbed someone near Warlingham Green history night, Surrey Police have called for substantiations. 

A sanctioned statement released this morning states that the police were summoned at 9.40 p.m.

” to reports of an altercation between a group of people on Limpsfield Road.” 

With backing from the canine unit, officers responded and set up the pecking victim. He was released from the sanitarium after entering treatment for what are described as”non-life threatening injuries.” 

Lyndsey Whatley, the Borough Commander for Tandridge, said:

“We understand that this would have been extremely distressing for anyone who witnessed the incident. 

We are not looking for anyone else in relation to this incident, and we do not believe there is any risk to the wider public.

I would like to thank the members of the public who called us, we have already received a number of pieces of footage and would ask if anyone knows anything about what happened or has any footage that may assist with our investigation, that they contact us.”

The area will be blocked off “for a few hours,” according to police, while a forensic search is being conducted.
