Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy expressed gratitude to the Danish and British governments on Tuesday for their continued support as Russia’s aggression persists.

Zelenskyy’s remarks follow the U.S. House of Representatives’ approval of $60.8 billion in foreign aid for Ukraine. The bill is anticipated to pass the Senate and be signed into law by President Joe Biden.

On the social media platform X, Zelenskyy acknowledged Denmark’s support since the onset of Russia’s full-scale invasion. He specifically requested Denmark’s help in securing additional air defense systems for the Mykolaiv region.

In another post, Zelenskyy praised the UK for its provision of Storm Shadow long-range missiles, hundreds of armored vehicles, and essential ammunition. He thanked the UK and Prime Minister Rishi Sunak for their robust support and commitment to enhancing defense cooperation, particularly in maritime and long-range capabilities.
