Croydon (Parliament Politics Magazine) – Police have charged three teenagers after a Croydon shooting left a 17-year-old boy with life-changing injuries. The suspects face attempted murder charges.

At approximately 7:40 p.m., police were called to a gunshot in Park Street. They found the victim, who had been shot in the leg, when they arrived.

Who are the teenagers charged in the Croydon shooting case?

On Tuesday, February 11, and Thursday, February 13, three teens were taken into custody and charged.

Dontae Dillon, 19, of Platinum Way, Burgess Hill, was accused of both gun possession and attempted murder. A 16-year-old Burgess Hill teenager who is anonymous due to legal restrictions was accused with the same offenses.

An attempted murder case was brought against a 15-year-old Croydon kid who is likewise unnamed for legal reasons.

On Thursday, February 14, the 15-year-old boy made an appearance at Croydon Magistrates’ Court. On Saturday, February 15, Dillon and the 16-year-old boy appeared in the same court.

All three will appear at the Old Bailey on Thursday, March 13.

What measures are being taken to ensure safety in Croydon?
