Lambeth (Parliament Politics Magazine) – Lambeth Mutual Aid organizes a cinema fundraiser at Coldharbour Blue on November 3, 2025, screening ‘When I Saw You’ to support Gaza mutual aid initiatives.
As part of the Palestine Cinema Days event, Lambeth Mutual Aid( LMA) is showing When I Saw You on Monday, November 3rd, in an effort to induce finances for collective aid in Gaza.
When I Saw You, the alternate film directed by Palestinian Annemarie Jacir, takes place in a Jordanian exile camp after the 1967 Six Day War.
A teenage Palestinian child named Tarek discreetly sets out on his own and meets a bunch of youthful freedom soldiers because he longs to be with his father again.
With an unvarying determination to be free, they set out on an adventure together.
For this webbing, LMA has partnered with Coldharbour Blue, a Brixton indie film theatre in Lambeth.
The organisers added:
“Although this is a fundraiser for mutual aid in Gaza, and we’d love if everyone could buy a Generous ticket, we don’t want anyone to miss out: if you want to come but can’t afford the unwaged price, message us on lambethmutualaid@gmail.com or on Insta (lambethmutualaid) and we’ll get you in another way.”
