Harrow (Parliament Politics Magazine) – A community brunch offering free meals returns to Harrow this winter, supported by Nando’s on Station Road and local nonprofit Carib & Co Brunch.

The program offers hot meals to low-income individualities, single parents, scholars, people with disabilities, the elderly, the homeless, and those who are vulnerable.

The coming time-out event will take place on Saturday, November 29, 2025, from 12 to 1.30 p.m. at Nando’s Harrow, 300–302 Station Road, HA1 2DX (in Harrow Town Centre), while supplies last. The first event was held on Saturday, October 18. Cllr. Anjana Patel, the mayor of Harrow, is also anticipated to attend and interact with locals.

As part of a relaunch following amendments at Nando’s Station Road, the branches will continue every two weeks throughout the downtime. Under operation, the eatery is listed to renew to the public by the end of November.

Originally backed by former director Charlotte, the design started in March 2024 but was later put on hold due to a detention in backing from Harrow Council and Harrow Giving.

Jade, Founder of Carib & Co Brunch, said:

“The funding process should not be difficult and should not be delayed where charities and non profit organisations have to create sponsorships to keep up with the demands of the cost of living.

We are grateful to Rhys for nominating us for ‘The ‘DTRT-y Cash’ initiative, created by Nando’s and co-funded by Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP) in October 2025 where the £500 fund is designed to support charities and non profit organisations in funding specific projects, such as improving services or creating new courses to enhance community access to skills.

We hope our mental health project to support our members gets chosen so fingers crossed.”

Jade also thanked Rhys and Bart, the new managers at Nando’s Station Road Harrow, for backing the project:

“This has helped to bring awareness to our nonprofit organisation. We thank you for believing in us and our vision. Peace and Love to many more free fortnightly like this for the future – November 2025 here we come & Cheers to 2026!”

Bart and Rhys added:

“We’re really happy to support our local communities, as it’s something truly fundamental to both our restaurant and to Nando’s as a whole.

One of our most important company pillars is Changing Lives, and our partnership with Carib & Co gives us a real opportunity to bring that value to life.

We’re inspired to be part of such a great initiative that makes a genuine difference in the community. It’s always amazing to see how much impact we can make when local businesses come together for a common cause, and we’re proud to play our part in giving back and spreading a little positivity where it’s needed most.”

The next upcoming brunch events are scheduled for:

  • Saturday 29 November, 12pm
  • Saturday 6 December, 12pm
  • Saturday 13 December, 12pm
  • Saturday 20 December, 12pm

What support or donations does Carib & Co Brunch need most?

Carib & Co Brunch primarily needs fiscal support and donations to continue and expand its community services. They seek backing to support original youth development work, internal health systems, and community access enterprise.

Also, they welcome financial donations, truck ticket purchases, and levy involvement to help sustain their free brunch events, exhibitions, and educational conditioning.

They’ve noted challenges with delayed backing and are thankful for auspices like the £500 fund from Nando’s and Coca-Cola Europacific mates, which supports specific systems. Ongoing benefactions prop them in furnishing free reflections and hosting community programs, especially addressing requirements heightened by the cost-of-living extremity.

The specific community brunch action in Harrow supported by Nando’s on Station Road and Carib & Co Brunch primarily lists collaboration between these two main mates. Beyond Nando’s furnishing venue and mess support, and Carib & Co organizing the event and community outreach, there are no fresh named organizational mates explicitly cited for this action.

Still, Carib & Co Brunch as a nonprofit frequently collaborates with commercial guarantors like Coca- Cola Europacific mates for backing and support, and engages levies from original networks to help with the events. The Mayoral office in Harrow is also involved through attendance and community engagement at the brunch events.
