Hammersmith and Fulham (Parliament Politics Magazine) – The Lyric Hammersmith and Fulham returns with Jack and the Beanstalk, releasing first-look production images as the festive pantomime runs through 4 January 2026.
Following last year’s smash hit Aladdin, Jack and the Beanstalk brings together the renowned creative team of director Nicholai La Barrie and writer Sonia Jalaly, carrying on the Lyric’s legacy of presenting some of Hammersmith and Fulham’s best pantomimes.
Sam Harrison plays Dame Trott, Joey James plays Jack, John Partridge from EastEnders and WestEnd plays Fleshcreep, Sienna Widd plays Jill, and Jade Hackett plays Fairy Godfather.
Gabriela Benedetti, Rachel Seirian, Robert Donnelly, and Harriet Caplan-Dean make up the group.
Set and costume developer Georgia Lowe, choreographer Kayla Lomas- Kirton, lighting developer Matt Haskins, musician and songwriter Corin Buckeridge, sound developer Nick Manning, musical director Adam Gerber, casting director Richard Johnston, assistant director Gráinne Flynn, and associate musical director Olivia Zacharia make up the creative platoon.
The London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham supports the donation of Jack and the Beanstalk.
The 2026 pantomime Cinderella, which will run from November 14, 2026, to January 3, 2027, has been confirmed by Lyric Hammersmith Theatre. Joel Horwood wrote the screenplay, Robin Belfield directed it, and viewers can anticipate the traditional lyric twist, side-splitting humor, and hit tunes.
Raymond Briggs’ Father Christmas, which is co-produced with Pins & Needles products, will make a comeback for its fifteenth time at the plant from November 18 to December 31, 2026.
Is there parking or nearest transport options and accessibility info?
The Lyric Hammersmith theatre doesn’t have on-point parking, so callers are advised to use near public transport options for convenience. Hammersmith Tube station (serving Piccadilly, District, Hammersmith & City lines) is a short walk down. Several machine routes stop near the theatre on King Street and Hammersmith Broadway.
The show is described as a family-friendly, delightful- filled adventure featuring live music, cotillion , comedy, and magical moments, suitable for periods 6 and over. The story follows Jack’s trip after trading his cow, Daisy, for magic sap, leading to instigative hassles with titans and villains.
Backing dogs are welcome, and there are vittles for hearing circles. Staff give support to callers with disabilities on request. While Lyric Hammersmith doesn’t give devoted parking, it’s well served by public transport with good availability features to accommodate callers with colorful mobility requirements.
