Ealing (Parliament Politics Magazine) – England and Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka returned to Greenford primary, Edward Betham, meeting pupils and praising teachers for shaping young lives in Ealing.

The 24-year-old’s visit was part of an action by online bank Chase, which has started a football  guiding program in Ealing to help those from low income backgrounds become good trainers.

The program aims to support the creation of community role models throughout the United Kingdom.

In line with Saka’s visit, Chase commissioned new YouGov exploration that revealed that 79% of young people who look up to someone in sports appreciate a professional athlete, and 25% are most inspired by a trainer or physical education educator.

Also, according to the report, 84% of kids suppose that playing sports helps them develop  capacities like communication, cooperation, and adaptability.

He said:

“Coming back to Edward Betham to hear the students talking about their role models and how I might have inspired them has been a blessing. I was lucky to have teachers and coaches who believed in me, not just in football but in life. Feeling supported to explore your interests and having good people to help you can make all the difference.”

Ms Chamberlain said:

“It has been a joy to welcome Bukayo back to Edward Betham. He was always hardworking, kind and determined. It’s wonderful for pupils to see how those qualities can carry you far.”

According to Ms. Chamberlain, Saka’s accomplishments demonstrated “how those chops can help you succeed in whatever path you choose,” and the academy placed a strong emphasis on fostering tenacity, cooperation, and communication across all subject areas.

What impact does Saka hope his visit will have on the pupils and the wider community?

Bukayo Saka hopes that his visit to Edward Betham School will inspire the pupils and the wider community by pressing the power of positive role models. He expressed gratitude for the  instructors and coaches who supported him beforehand, emphasizing the significance of  instigations and guidance in helping youth people pursue their  heartstrings.

He wants the visit to support crucial values similar to perseverance, cooperation, and communication rates that the academy promotes and that have helped him succeed both in football and life.

Saka’s presence at the academy also serves as a festivity of community support and mentorship, emphasizing the part of seminaries and associations in nurturing gifts.
