Civitanavi expands operations and opens state-of-the-art UK site

Civitanavi Systems Spa announced on Monday the opening of a new state-of-the-art facility in the heart of the aerospace and defense industry in Filton, Bristol, UK.

“Civitanavi Systems UK Ltd, based at the new facility, will provide UK customers with long-awaited capability and skilled and experienced personnel in high-end inertial and GNSS systems, using proprietary fiber optic gyroscope and microsystems technology electromechanical, complemented by advanced next-generation fusion algorithms,” the company explained in a note.

“The 5,000 square meter facility is designed to be modern, flexible and secure to meet the evolving needs of our valued customers.

“The next-generation motion simulators and local fiber optic gyroscope supply chain will enable Civitanavi Systems UK to design and manufacture almost entirely UK-made inertial solutions in-country.

Civitanavi is trading in the green by 1.6 percent at 3.80 euros per share.
