Ealing (Parliament Politics Magazine) – Ealing’s creative talent converges at Bobo Social will take place for an Art Social event at Boho Social, showcasing the borough’s creative scene.

13 local artists, including Jon Loxton and Moira Walker, will have their works on display at the unique art event, which will take place on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, starting at 6 p.m.

The organiser Reanna Cooper, the founder of ByXX, a platform that promotes local artists in West London said:

“We aim to increase opportunities for local artists and connect artists and art lovers.”

Ms Cooper added:

“To bring artists and art lovers together, we’re hosting an Art Social at Bobo Social. This free event offers local artists a chance to exhibit their work while creatives can connect, mingle, sip drinks, and enjoy nibbles.

Ealing is brimming with artistic talent, and we’re here to bring it into the spotlight—everyone is welcome! This is all about local people supporting local businesses and local businesses supporting local people.”

The pieces on show range in price from £30 to £800 and include both originals and prints.

Ms Cooper added that she hopes the evening becomes a regular event in Ealing:

“We want visitors to enjoy the evening—offering something different from the usual night out by creating a space for creativity, conversation, and community.

If all goes well, we’d love to make this a regular event, bringing more opportunities for artists and art lovers to connect and celebrate Ealing’s vibrant creative scene.”

What types of artworks will be showcased at the event?

The event’s main goals are to display the work of regional artists, provide creatives a chance to network, and let them enjoy refreshments and light fare in a laid-back atmosphere.

Local painters may display a range of paintings, such as abstracts, landscapes, and portraits.

Numerous themes, including nature, urban landscapes, and portraits, are frequently featured in photography exhibitions.

Traditional, modern, and experimental sculptures could be included, depending on the available area.

Artists may also display mixed-media creations, which combine several mediums and methods to produce one-of-a-kind compositions.

Digital art, such interactive installations or digital printing, is featured in some exhibitions.
