London (Parliament Politic Magazine) – Throughout his life, George Michael coped with a number of deaths, some of which followed him to death on Christmas Day, 2016. George Michael saw a great deal of death in his lifetime, and it all affected him. The Wham! The singer’s family was shattered with the deaths of five members, including Michael, who passed away on Christmas in 2016. Personally, Michael was devastated by a sixth.

Tragic Cycle: Cursed Family

A close childhood friend of Michael’s thinks that the tragic cycle is the product of a “curse.”Various stories claim that Michael “lived in fear” for a variety of reasons. According to reports, Michael was “living in fear” of the past happening again following the two suicides on his mother’s side of the family. In 1964, Uncle Colin, who was thought to be secretly gay, was discovered dead at the age of 38 from an overdose. Then, Michael claims that his maternal grandpa George James Harrison, who was 66 at the time, is likewise thought to have committed himself in 1960.

This goes against the late pop star’s 2007 version of events, in which he claimed that his mother Lesley discovered them “gassed to death” in 1963 within a few days of one another. Michael created a song called My Mother Had A Brother about his uncle, who he said would inherit his schizophrenia. He was “haunted” and “fixated” on his uncle’s death.

Similar to his uncle, Michael tried to hide his sexual orientation from his early years. Later, the pop sensation claimed that his uncle committed himself because he was unable to handle keeping his homosexuality a secret. Michael claimed that although the loss of his Uncle Colin had a profound impact on him, his first depressive episode occurred in 1993 after the AIDS-related death of his girlfriend, Anselmo Feleppa. If Anselmo hadn’t passed away, Michael’s longtime buddy Andros Georgiou thinks he would still be alive.

“George was the love of his life and if he hadn’t died I think George would still be here,” he stated to The Mirror. Following Anselmo, he failed to discover true love. I could see their joy. After Anselmo passed away, I believe he was completely lost; it was a shock.” Then, when Lesley Angold Panayiotou, George’s mother, passed away at the age of 60 from cancer in 1997, George was crushed. The late singer fell into a profound despair after her passing.

He previously stated to The Guardian, “If I had come close to saying I don’t want to live, that would have been after my Mum died.” “I was overcome with the sense that my finest days were behind me. I adored and admired my mother dearly.”

Michael’s Statement: Cause Of These Deaths

Michael also stated that his mother did not inform him about his uncle’s cause of death until he was sixteen years old. “It changed my opinion of her entirely because it wasn’t just that; she also witnessed the death of her father in the same manner,” he continued. Each of them had buried their heads in the gas oven. And the good old mum discovered them both.

“The world was shocked to learn that Michael had died unexpectedly at the age of 53 on December 25, 2016. When Fadi Fawaz, his boyfriend, went to wake him up in the morning at their Oxfordshire house in Goring-on-the-Thames, Michael was dead in bed. Fadi made the following declaration in a statement: “Our plan was to go to Christmas lunch. When I walked around to rouse him up, he was gone, resting in bed contentedly.”We’re still unsure of what transpired. Even though things had been somewhat challenging lately, I and George were both looking forward to Christmas.” Later on, he tweeted: “It’s Christmas, and I will never forget waking up to discover your lover dead in bed quietly… I shall always miss you, xx.”

For months, the mysterious circumstances surrounding her death persisted, with a family acquaintance asserting that Melanie “died of a broken heart” as a result of never fully healing from the loss of Michael. The 55-year-old man died from diabetic ketoacidosis, which was brought on by excessive blood sugar and insufficient insulin, according to a postmortem examination. Kyriacos “Jack” Panayiotou, Michael’s father, and Yioda Panayiotou, his sister, are currently mourning the deaths of three family members.
