Iran’s Foreign Minister, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, warned that attacks by the “Axis of Resistance” against Israel and its interests will continue if the conflict in Gaza does not end. Speaking at the World Economic Forum in Davos, he stressed that the resolution of the Gaza war is crucial for regional stability and security.

Amir-Abdollahian linked the security of the Red Sea to the Gaza situation, stating that the ongoing conflict could exacerbate tensions across the Middle East. He warned that if Israeli actions in Gaza persist, various resistance fronts will remain active.

The statement follows recent escalations involving the Houthis in Yemen, who have targeted Red Sea shipping in solidarity with Palestinians. The US and UK conducted airstrikes in Yemen, which the Houthis have vowed to counter.

Additionally, Amir-Abdollahian mentioned that Iran had shared intelligence with Iraq regarding alleged Israeli intelligence activities in the Kurdish region. Iran claimed responsibility for an attack on what it described as an Israeli spy headquarters in Erbil, though Iraq denied the existence of such a facility.
