London (Parliament Politics Magazine) – Mhairi Black is a prominent politician and a member of the Scottish National Party. She is currently serving as the deputy leader in the House of Commons for the last few months. Apart from that she is a Member of Parliament for Paisley and Renfrewshire South. Bio & Early Life
Mhairi Black was born on 12th September 1994. She completed her education at Lourdes Secondary School, Glasgow, and the University of Glasgow. Being a bright student she was given the award of a first-class honors degree. As she had an interest in Politics and Public policy her studies helped her gain a lot of new insight. She has not yet given her final exam in Scottish politics and remains to be an undergraduate. Before entering into politics Mhairi worked at a fish and chip shop to earn some money. Political Career
Mhairi became a Member of Parliament for Paisley and Renfrewshire South. In 2015 she was an undergraduate student at the University of Glasgow. After defeating Douglas Alexander, she became a Labour MP and Shadow Foreign Secretary. Moreover, her unexpected popularity helped her get re-elected many times. Although everyone knew she is the youngest MP that didn’t stop her from showing her skills. Due to some changes in the political system, the age of candidacy starts from 18 years.
