Ozzy Osbourne Cancels Tour: Health Concerns

Ozzy Osbourne, legendary singing voice of Black Sabbath, announced today through social networks the cancellation of his upcoming recitals, ending his tours because “I no longer feel physically capable” of taking on that chore.

“This is probably one of the toughest decisions I’ve had to share with my loyal fans,” confided the 74-year-old heavy metal vocalist, who has been chaining health problems.

In his public statement, Osbourne noted: “My sole purpose during this time has been to return to the stage. My singing voice is fine. However, after three operations, stem cell treatments, endless physiotherapy sessions and most recently , the innovative cybernetic treatment (HAL), my body is still physically weak.”

He added: “I have come to the conclusion that I am not physically capable of making the upcoming tour dates in Europe and the UK as I know I would not be able to cope with the necessary travel. Believe me when I say that the idea disappointing my fans pisses me off more than you can imagine.”

In the text where he assumes the sad decision, the British interpreter also noted: “I could never imagine that my touring days could end this way. My team is trying to find a way for me to interpret without having to travel from city to city from country to country.” (Telam)
