Prince Harry mount Legal Action Against HMG, and Police

In a legal battle in the UK’s High Court, Prince Harry has launched judicial review against the UK government for failing to protect him from terrorist attacks. He wants to bring his baby daughter and son to England from the United States. This is because of the risks posed by paparazzi and police. In July, 2021, he was chased by photographers as he left a charity event in London. The Prince is sixth in line to the throne, and has faced neo-nazi threats.

Prince Harry launches legal action against the UK government

The Prince is not the only person to face terrorist attacks. In July, the Duke of Sussex offered to pay for his own police protection, but the queen turned him down. The UK government says its security system is “rigorous” and declined to comment on whether or not the duchess was being attacked by terrorists. However, the royal couple was also a victim of an attack on another royal. So, why did they decide to take legal action?

The legal action was launched after the Duke of Sussex and the Ministry of Security contacted them. In July, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex travelled to the UK and met with Scotland Yard protection officers at Heathrow Airport. In early January 2020, he visited the Queen’s residence in Kew Gardens and met with sick children. In the days that followed, he contacted the British High Court and offered to pay for his own personal police protection.

The British royal family has a long-standing tradition of requesting police protection and Prince Harry’s legal action against the UK government is a welcome step. The King of England and his wife have been in Britain for more than two years, but this time, he has taken the first step towards securing the UK for his children. Although this statement comes as a surprise, it is a bold step forward for the Royal Family, who has long pleaded for security.

In the US, Andrew is facing civil action over the allegations of sexual abuse. The prince is not charged with a crime in the UK, but his legal battle could cost the government PS2million a year. Despite the risk of legal action, the UK government is unable to protect the prince’s family. As a result, the Queen is reportedly considering a change of title for the sixth Prince.

The UK government has been accused of being racist in its decision to refuse to allow the prince to live in the United Kingdom. But the Royal Family is committed to the UK as its home and wants it to be safe for his children. And it is no longer a country of exception. The royal family is proud to live in the UK, but it must be protected. The government is the only country responsible for preventing hate crimes.
