UK: 5 exciting food and drinks festivals of summer 2022

LONDON (Parliament Politics Magazine) – Eat, drink and find yourself happy and satisfied with these amazing food parties in the UK.

1. Summer Series of Cocktails in the City of London

This summer, Bedford Square in London will play host to three events of the well-liked Cocktails in the City festival: 7-9 July, 11-13 August, and 8-10 September. Visitors can indulge in world-class cocktails, live music, interactive games, masterclasses, makeovers, and a sizable silent disco at each event, which will each have a distinct theme and aesthetic. Coupette, Silverleaf, Funkidory, Bourne & Hollingsworth, and Laki Kane are some of the bars participating this year. Tickets start at £20 per person, which includes your first drink. The hours of the sessions are 12 to 4 and 5 to 10 p.m.

15-18 JULY: STANFORD HALL, LEICESTERSHIRE

 

2. Rum Show

The Rum Show, organised by The Whisky Exchange, will feature 200 of the top rums from across the world over two days at Glaziers Hall in London Bridge. The event will be co-hosted by Sly Augustin and Georgi Radev, owners of renowned London rum bars Trailer Happiness and Laki Kane, and will feature cocktails, workshops, and immersive experiences. Tickets start at £45.

3. Vegan Camp Out

According to Natalie Paris in The Daily Telegraph, this festival, hosted at Stanford Hall in Leicestershire, would make a terrific debut festival for anyone new to veganism. It intends to empower revellers with the knowledge needed to whip up ethical, yet nutritious plates of food at home in addition to exhibiting what it calls the biggest assortment of vegan food in UK history. Additionally, there is music, presentations, yoga sessions, and a play area for kids.

4. The Great British Food Festival

With 11 events scheduled for some of the most beautiful locations in the UK in 2022, the Great British Food Festival has an amazing lineup.

5. National Geographic Traveller Food Festival

For the first time since the year 2019, the National Geographic Traveller Food Festival is returning to London. The festival, which will be held at the Business Design Centre, will feature a variety of gastronomic delights. Chefs participating in the festival include Fuchsia Dunlop, Grace Dent, José Pizarro, Richard Corrigan and Olia Hercules. While the Masterclasses will offer immersive overseas experiences with locales as diverse as Italy and Wales, “Speakers’ Corner” will feature discussions of the most recent works by cookbook authors and culinary writers.
