Valley Fest, set to take place from August 1-4 on an organic farm in Chew Magna near Bristol, is gearing up for its 10th birthday with an impressive lineup. Artists Don Letts, Badger, Jaguar Skills, and OKO will perform on a takeover stage hosted by the iconic Glastonbury collective, Arcadia.
The festival, founded by Luke Hasell in 2014, will feature headliners such as Sophie Ellis-Bextor and Sister Sledge, alongside popular artists like rapper Tinie Tempah, The Feeling, and The Skids.
The Arcadia takeover will be hosted by Save Our Scene, a media and events organization focused on protecting grassroots music, along with the homeless charity BillyChip. Festival-goers can expect a vibrant atmosphere with fire performances, immersive dancefloors, and spectacular fire-and-light effects.
Arcadia’s team will showcase their Lords of Lightning attraction, creating “music lightning” by shooting bolts of electricity from their bodies at different sonic frequencies.
George Fleming from Save Our Scene expressed excitement about the event: “We’re so excited to be part of Valley Fest and take over Arcadia’s Afterburner stage for a night of complete madness.”
The Thursday night lineup will also include Stanton Warriors, Fabio, and Grooverider, along with the new venue, Back to Mine, featuring DJs like Dave Lee (JN), DJ Paulette, and Lottie, focusing on disco and funk vibes.
Valley Fest promises to be a memorable celebration, blending music, community, and a commitment to local causes.
