1. Cambrian Way, Wales
Emily Luxton called the Cambrian Way “epic” in her travel blog and Wales is a perfect destination for a road trip. The 185-mile route connects the capital city of Cardiff in the south with the Victorian beach town of Llandudno in the north, primarily following the A470. It’s packed with fascinating history, rich heritage and some absolutely stunning scenic drives, and is advised as a five-day trip.
2. Snake Pass, Peak District, England
The High Peak Estate of the National Trust is traversed by this hill pass, which carries the A57 highway from Manchester to Sheffield. If the weather is good, tourists can also see Manchester and other nearby cities in addition to the vast, stunning moorlands. This is a winding route with numerous twists and blind turns, doing justice with its name.
3. North Coast 500, Scotland
