Southall (Parliament Politics Magazine) – Famed Indian brand Haldiram’s is celebrating Diwali in Southall with a festive pop-up stall offering fresh sweets and snacks outside its Brent Road factory.

The project, which runs until Sunday, October 19, 2025, intends to bring a neighborhood-centered Festival of Lights celebration to the center of the region.

Customers will be able to mix and match their favorite Indian sweets and purchase them by weight at the stand, which will serve them instead of the company’s typical pre-packaged boxes.

According to Haldiram’s, the goal is to blend a local, handcrafted vibe with the brand’s worldwide appeal.

The company’s broader variety of frozen items and namkeen (savory snacks) are also available to visitors.

Seasonal delicacies will be served alongside traditional treats like motichoor laddoo and kaju katli, highlighting the range of confections that have made Haldiram’s a household name in India and the diaspora.

Rhea Agarwal, the company’s director of business development for the UK and Europe, said the event was a way to “stay connected to our roots and our community”.

She added:

“We’re very excited to welcome everyone to our doorstep – to celebrate tradition, share fresh flavours, and make the festive season feel truly special, right here in Southall.”

Through October 19, the stand will be open every day from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. at Haldiram’s UK plant, located at Unit 9C, Beaver Industrial Park, Brent Road, Southall, UB2 5FB.
