Ealing (Parliament Politics Magazine) – Northolt’s famous Haunted House drew large Halloween crowds despite bad weather, raising £500 for Meadow House Hospice in Ealing.
A sort of Northolt custom in Ealing is the Haunted House on Kempton Avenue, UB5 4HF. The attraction, which was developed by locals Jason and Lisa Cole, turns their family home into a walk-through fright fest that attracts hundreds of tourists annually and generates revenue for charitable causes.
Proceeds are donated to Meadow House Hospice in Ealing, as in previous years, in honor of Mr. Cole’s mother, who passed away in 2023 following a six-year fight with cancer.
The Coles organized the community-run event, which included special effects, animatronics, live actors, and torchlit hallways.
The Hillingdon Theatre Dance Centre kicked off the celebration with a mob dance to the Cole’s theme song, “House on Kempton Avenue.”
The Premature Medium’s psychic readings, Danamara’s jewelry, and Maggie’s face painting for kids were among the stalls that contributed to the vibrant environment. The Haunted House’s resident “Candy Witch” made sure that everyone left with a treat, and local station Radio Harrow joined in.
Jason and Lisa expressed their gratitude to doorman Gary, live actor Andi Nerve for his performance, and horror supply Mad About Horror for providing props.
The duo is formerly fastening on shimmer rather than ghosts since this time’s resort has been “dismembered for another time.” Construction has started on their forthcoming community event, Santa’s Meet and Greet Wonderland, which will take place on December 20 and 21, 2025, from 4.30 to 8.30 p.m.
Tickets can be bought via dispatch and cost £7.50 (with a little gift) or £6 (without) per child.
How were the £500 funds collected and handed to Meadow House Hospice?
The £500 finances raised by Northolt’s Haunted House magnet for Meadow House Hospice were collected through donations from attendees sharing in the event on Halloween night. These donations were likely gathered via entrance freights, ticket deals, or voluntary benefactions made by callers during the magnet.
After the event, the collected finances were handed over to Meadow House Hospice, an original specialist palliative care provider serving residents of Ealing and Hounslow. The lodge appreciates similar community donations as they help support the delivery of high- quality care for cases with incorrigible ails, both at the lodge installation and in cases’ homes.
Specific details on exact collection styles and transfer process weren’t reported, but these charitable events generally involve transparent account and sanctioned donation procedures to ensure finances reach the designated charity efficiently and securely.
